Disposable Vapes in the Crossroads Arts District
Our Crossroads store on Southwest Blvd carries hemp-derived disposable vapes. You can hold the device and look it over before you buy.
That matters more than most people expect. A disposable is hardware. Hardware can fail. Checking it at the counter takes about ten seconds and saves a wasted trip home.
We are open until 1AM Sunday through Thursday, and until 3AM on Friday and Saturday. All products are for adults 21 and older with a valid ID.
What a Disposable Is
A disposable is an all-in-one device. The battery and the oil come sealed together in a single unit.
A cartridge is different. It holds only the oil. You screw it onto a separate battery that you keep and reuse.
Both do the same job. They just split the hardware differently.
What to Check on the Hardware
Not all disposables are built the same way. Four things are worth checking before you buy.
- Charge port. Some devices have one. Some do not. No port means the battery is single-use.
- Activation. Some devices fire when you draw. Others need a button press.
- Size. Device size and oil volume are two different numbers. Ask which one is on the label.
- Puff count. Any number on the box is an estimate. How long you draw changes it a lot.
Ask us at the counter. We will tell you which of these applies to what is in the case that day.
Before You Leave the Counter
Three quick checks:
- The seal is intact and the packaging has not been opened.
- There is no oil around the mouthpiece or the base.
- Nothing looks cracked, dented, or damaged.
If something looks off, say so before you leave. It is much easier to sort out at the counter.
Common Problems and What Causes Them
Three problems come up more than any others. None of them are your fault. If a device does not perform, bring it back to the counter with your receipt. We will take a look at it.

Burnt taste on the first draw
Usually a dry coil. The wick did not have oil on it when the device fired.

Weak or blocked draw
Usually a clogged airway. Oil has moved somewhere it was not meant to go, often after the device sat on its side.

Device does not turn on
The battery either shipped without a charge or lost it in storage.
How to Store a Disposable
Keep the device upright. Store it away from heat and out of direct light.
A hot car is the single most common place a disposable gets ruined. The oil thins, moves into the airway, and the device clogs.

We are on Southwest Blvd, on the southwest edge of the Crossroads where the street runs down toward the West Side. Locals just call it the Boulevard.
It is the same stretch known for Mexican restaurants and grocers, and Boulevard Brewing Company sits a few blocks up. If you are already down here on a Friday night, we are open until 3AM.

Are your disposable vapes rechargeable?
It depends on the device. Some have a charge port and some do not. Ask at the counter and we will tell you which ones in the case can be recharged.
What size are your disposables?
Most are 2g devices. Device size and oil volume are not always the same number, so ask which figure is on the label.
Can I see the device before I buy it?
Yes. You can look at any device at the counter before deciding. Checking the seal and the mouthpiece takes a few seconds.
What should I do if a device tastes burnt on the first draw?
Bring it back to the counter with your receipt. A burnt first draw usually means a dry coil, which is a hardware problem rather than something you did.
How late is the Crossroads store open?
We are open until 1AM Monday through Thursday and Sunday, and until 3AM on Friday and Saturday. We open at 10AM every day.
Do I need an appointment?
No. Walk-ins are welcome at both Kansas City stores. All purchases are for adults 21 and older with valid ID.
